Thierry LIBAERT holds a Masters degree in Public Law, the diploma of
the Institute of Political Studies of Paris, a DESS in Political and
Social Communication (Paris-I) and a Doctorate in Information Sciences and Communication
awarded by the University of Louvain.
He worked for the Department of Industry, then for a Public Relations
Agency, then as a PR manager for one of France's leading companies.
Lecturer of "Communication for companies and organizations" at the
Institute of Political Studies in Paris, he also teaches the science behind
Information and Communication at the Paris-IV University (CELSA) at Masters
and PHD level to the University of Saint-Denis of the Reunion Island (PHD
level), and the Catholic University of Louvain (Belgium). He leads seminars
on "Crisis Communication" at the University of Political Sciences.
He is a member of the Committee for Ecological Vigilance of the Nicolas Hulot
Foundation and the Committee for Environmental Vigilance for the
Environmental Minister.
He is a member of the humanitarian organisation Humanvillage. He has published several books and many articles.
